Online Informational Class Discount Package

These classes are online, not in person. Each class will be taught using Google Meet, which you can learn more about at the bottom of this description.

This package grants you access to all three of our Online Informational Education Classes this year:

Class 1: An introduction to bird care. This class will go over the joys and demands of pet bird ownership. We will discuss what it means to own a pet bird for a lifetime, the commitment it takes, what to expect, and how to do it easily. If you are new to birds this class will be a perfect introduction to our world. If you have contemplated getting a pet bird but are not sure if you could handle it, then this is it for you!

Class 2: Joining the Flock.  An in-depth class that will explain the living setup, daily care for your bird including nutrition, foraging, and enrichment, and tips on how to manage a daily schedule with a flock.

Class 3: The Lifelong Commitment to your Bird.  Your cute, sweet baby bird will soon grow up into a mature adult with needs that we may not be able to meet. We will discuss what to expect and how to handle it to keep your relationship amazing from day one. This class will also cover common health issues in our companion parrots.

Google Meet is a professional video conferencing app that can be accessed on a PC, Mac, laptop, tablet, or phone.  The app only requires you to have a Google account, which is free and can be done here if you do not already have one.  PC, Mac, and laptop users can access Google Meet by simply using your web browser at meet.Google.com. You will need to download the Google Meet app on an iPhone or iPad in the App Store, or the Google Play Store for an android device. The link to access the class on Google Meet will be sent out one hour before class starts.  Ensure the email you put in the registration form is one that you can check during that time. We also recommend you try out Google Meet beforehand if you can and use this page to get your settings correct if you have never used video conferencing before.
