About the event
Our next Online Toy Making Class will be held Sunday, April 18th at 1:00 PM Eastern Time! Everyone who attends the class will also be given a one-time 20% off coupon for all toys and toy parts either online or in our store.
This class only requires a pair of scissors. You can use your own, or purchase one of our Toy Making Tool Kits which includes extras tools that can be used in this and future class.
This class will focus on Medium-Sized Birds, such as Caiques, Pionus, Eclectus, Amazons, and Greys, and be led by Bernie through Google Meet (more info on Google Meet below). This will allow us not only to instruct and show you step by step how the two included toys go together, but everyone can also video call with us so we can help out anywhere you might get stuck. Google Meet can be used on any desktop or laptop, and only requires the Google Meet app and a google/gmail account to log in on mobile devices.
The April class will be $45 if you pick up the toy kits in-store/curbside.
After the class is over, you will be emailed a one-time use coupon for 20% off all toys and toy parts that can be used either online or in our store for a single order. The coupon will be good for one month.
You can watch the class without being on camera or using a microphone, but it is highly recommended that you do so that any questions can be addressed quickly and easily.
Google Meet is a professional video conferencing app that can be accessed on a PC, Mac, laptop, tablet, or phone. The app only requires you to have a google account, which is free and can be done here if you do not already have one. PC, Mac, and laptop users can access Google Meet by simply using your web browser at meet.Google.com. You will need to download the Google Meet app on an iPhone or iPad in the App Store, or the Google Play Store for an android device. The link to access the class on Google Meet will be sent out one hour before class starts (noon on April 18th). Ensure the email you put in the registration form is one that you can check during that time. We also recommend you try out Google Meet beforehand if you can, and use this page to get your settings correct if you have never used video conferencing before.

You must add your address in the registration to have your kits shipped to you. We also offer SBF Toy Making Tool Kits that can come in handy with this class, future classes, and for your own use. If you'd like to purchase one, please select "BeakList Pickup" and we will add it to your toy parts kits for not extra shipping charge.
